DAIL Long-Term Care Bed Board

DAIL Long-Term Care Bed Board

What it is:

The Department of Disabilities, Aging and Independent Living (DAIL) Bed Board is an electronic repository for statewide Vermont Nursing Home (bed) occupancy and vacancy information.  The Bed Board serves as an efficient tool for nursing homes to update information and hospitals, long term care (LTC) service organizations and providers to search for available beds when assisting individuals in finding a nursing home placement.

Where to find it:

On the internet at https://dailbedboard.vermontbedboard.org/.

Who is using it:

Currently, nursing home facilities are the only long-term care provider type who are reporting bed capacity. Hospitals, long-term care service organizations, and providers may request a User Account to access the Search feature when assisting an individual in identifying an appropriate LTC facility.

System requirements:

DAIL Bed Board will run on many browsers. The system does not run on Internet Explorer 7. While it runs on Smartphones, it is not optimized for mobile use.
