Final Proposed Rule; Residential Care Home and Assisted Living
Residence Licensing Regulations.
The final proposed rule on Residential Care Homes and Assisted Living Residence Licensing Regulations has been submitted to the Legislative Committee on Administrative Rules (LCAR) for its consideration. The Department's submission includes a memo that lists all the changes made to the proposed rule since it was first filed with the Secretary of State. This memo also summarizes all the comments that were received about the proposed rule and contains the Department's responses to those comments.

Licensing and Operating Regulations for Therapeutic Community Residences
The proposed amendment to the Licensing and Operating Regulations for Therapeutic Community Residences has been filed with the Secretary of State. The Department's submission includes the following:

New Policy Chapter
The Vermont Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) is proposing to revisions to Chapter 302 Health Services, 306 Rehabilitation Technology and a new chapter 315 Home Modifications. DVR is seeking public comment on the proposed chapters. The proposed chapters can be found at https://vocrehab.vermont.gov/. DVR will hold a public meeting to accept in person comments on the proposed policy on Tuesday, September 3 from 3pm to 4pm at the Waterbury State Complex 280 State Drive Waterbury in the Cherry A conference room. DVR will also accept written comments sent to James Smith at the above mail address or E-Mail address. DVR will accept public comment up to Tuesday, September 3, 2024, 4.30pm EST.
