PBS Storytelling Project - ADA 30th Anniversary - Participation Request

PBS is working to compile a show on their new American Portrait series, to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), this coming July 26th.

They’re seeking submissions of short 20-60 second video clips at their website for consideration to include in the final project, to air next week. If you would like to share your experience with life under the ADA – either as someone with a disability, with a family member with a disability, or someone who has worked with or cared for those with disabilities, please consider making a short video and sending it in.

A very short turnaround time therefore submissions must be in NO LATER THAN CLOSE OF BUSINESS THIS Thursday 7/23.

Please email Peter Callahan, PBS Intern at call0436@pacificu.edu after submitting your video so he has a heads up that a Vermont story has been submitted, for quicker review, if you wish. Anonymous submissions are also accepted.

#TeamDAIL hopes that the 802 will be well represented in this terrific project!

Thanks in advance for your help with participating.
